Nancy Ann Bodie, 72, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Jersey City, NJ on May 15, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Erle William and Jane Dorsey Bodie.

Nancy was a retired comptroller at Schlosser Associates; she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and the great pride she put in her work. Above all, she cherished time with her family. Nancy especially adored her grandson, who held a very special place in her heart. She loved bringing everyone together and was happiest when hosting family gatherings filled with laughter, good food, and conversation. Nancy enjoyed cooking as well as watching cooking shows, always finding inspiration for her next meal to share with loved ones.

Survivors include her son; Kevin Bodie, Elkton, MD, grandson; Cameron Bodie, siblings; William Bodie, Baltimore, MD, Steven Bodie (Margaret), Hingham, MA, Paul Bodie (Denise), Elkton, MD, and Ruth Zimmerman (Terry), Bowie, MD, and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life service will be held 1 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 12 PM. Interment will be private in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
