Frank G. "Big Frank" Finnegan, age 49, of Elkton, MD, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 21, 2016. Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 17, 1966, he was the son of Juanita L. Haley, Elkton, MD, and John R. Finnegan, St. George's, DE.
Mr. Finnegan attended William Penn High School, New Castle, DE, and graduated from Hodgson Vocational Technical High School, Glasgow, DE. He was a professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Federation and a professional heavyweight boxer. Mr. Finnegan was a lifetime member of the Delaware City, DE, Fire Company, Station 15. He was the founder of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #851, Elkton.
In addition to his mother and father, survivors include his son, Gregory D. Finnegan-Greytak, Wilmington, DE; loving companion of 8 years, Gina Creek, Elkton; and brother, John R. "Bucky" Finnegan, Jr., Townsend, DE.
Mr. Finnegan was preceded in death by his step-father, Herbert "Sonny" Haley, Jr.
