"Dawny"

Dawn M. Morris-Garber, of Cecilton, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2012, with her family by her bedside.

Dawny was a loving person with a beautiful smile, and loved being with her family, especially her brother and cousins.

She is survived by her adoring adopted family, mother, Nicole Garber Lougheed and husband, Matt; brother, Hunter Tollinger, all of Cecilton, MD; maternal grandparents, Larry and Gail Garber, Chesapeake City, MD; aunt, Gretchen O'Neal, Elkton, MD; uncle, Tom O'Neal; and cousins, Megan, Halle and Colin O'Neal.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the loving care shown to Dawny during her brief stay at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center.

Funeral service will be held 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvert Manor Nursing Scholarship Fund, 1881 Telegraph Rd., Rising Sun, MD 21911.
