William "Bill" Eugene Stutzman, 94, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Born in Hollsopple, PA on December 20, 1929, he was the son of the late Wendell and Mary Stanton Stutzman.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Bill served his country with honor from 1949 to 1953. After his military service, he dedicated 38 years of his professional life as a retail manager. An avid bowler, Bill had been an active member of the Elkton Senior Bowling League and the Blue Hen Senior Bowling League, where he formed many lasting friendships. His love for woodworking showcased his creativity and craftmanship. Bill had also been a passionate hunter, who enjoyed being out in the tranquility of nature.

He leaves behind his children, David Stutzman (Janet), Petersburg, NJ, Debi Lamparelli, Mantua, NJ, Cheryl Hoffman (John), York, PA, Denise Droneburg (Wayne), Frederick, MD, and Mark Stutzman (Laura), Mountain Lake Park, MD; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Joyce Cramer, Kearneysville, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia "Ginny" Weaver Stutzman; siblings, Carol Stutzman, and Robert Stutzman; son-in-law, Nick Lamparelli; and great-grandson, Christopher Lamparelli.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 29, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment with Military Honors will be in Moore's Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
