William Donald Dunn, Sr., age 86, of Lewes, DE, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021. Born in Wilmington, DE, on August 05, 1935, he was the son of the late Robert R., Sr. and Elizabeth Mae Drummond Dunn.

Mr. Dunn retired from the DuPont Company, where he was a customer service representative. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Elkton United Methodist Church, Elkton.

He is survived by his son, William D. Dunn, Jr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Lucy C. Truitt Dunn; brother, Jon Dunn; and sisters, Robin Thompson, and Barbara Clark.

Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will be private.
