Wilbur James Whalen, Jr., age 69, of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. Born in Elkton, MD, on September 16, 1952, he was the son of the late Wilbur J. and Hilda E. Mason Whalen.

Mr. Whalen was the owner and operator of Whalen Radiator Repair and mini storage facility. He loved drag racing and was a member of the NHRA.

Survivors include his sons, Wilbur J. Whalen, III, Oxford, PA, and Tyler A. Whalen, Burleson, TX; siblings, Cynthia W. Cooper-Lent, and John G. Whalen, both of Elkton, MD; 3 nephews, and 1 niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven M. Whalen, and 1 niece.

Funeral service will be private, with interment in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
