Wayne Lockwood Warpole, 75, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025. Mr. Warpole was born in Wilmington, DE on August 6, 1950.  He was the son of the late William and Cecelia Hammond Warpole.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Warpole was an electrician who worked at Limerick and Peach Bottom power plants.  He enjoyed music, watching Star Trek and older TV Classics and was an active participant in cheering for soccer, rugby, and swimming events in which his children participated.

Survivors include his children, Jennifer Warpole, Philadelphia, PA, Marianna Lockman, West Chester, PA, and Wayne Warpole, Jr, Coatesville, PA., wife Kathy Warpole, Scottsdale, AZ, and many extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill, and sister Charlene.

Funeral service with Military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 12 noon, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
