Wayne Edward Aro, 86, of Cecilton, MD, formally of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born on August 21, 1939, he was the son of the late Catherine Baker Aro.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a jet mechanic. Mr. Aro was the proud owner and operator of Ace Printing. Outside of his professional life, he was passionate about carving decoys and woodworking. His skill, creativity, and attention to detail were reflected in the many pieces he crafted over the years. Mr. Aro will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of the Baltimore Orioles, and the joy he found in spending time with his family. He was a devoted father and a proud grandad who cherished every moment with those he loved most.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years; Billie Sue Kyle Aro, grandchildren; Chelsea Moran Haggerty (Eric), Earleville, MD and Trevor Moran (Melinda), Earleville, MD, son-in-law; Gary Moran, Earleville, MD, great-grandchildren; Parker Haggerty, and Easton Haggerty, and sister; Anna Husfelt, North East, MD
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Angela Beth Moran Aro, siblings; John Aro, Edward Aro Jr., and Delores Mars.
Funeral service will be private.
