Walter Duane Dryer, age 94, of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. Born in Schenectady, NY, on October 23, 1927, he was the son of the late Walter and Marian McCann Dryer.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Dryer had worked as a salesman for over 20 years for Miller's Sporting Goods, New Castle, DE. He was a former President of Delaware Antique Arms and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his children; Walter David Dryer (Cheryllee), Karen L. Dryer, both of Elkton, MD, Kim M. Bartholomew (Kenneth), Lewes, DE, and Timothy A. Dryer, Elkton, MD; grandchildren, James Osgood (Nikki), Joann Talley (Luke), Katie Dryer (John Casaccio), Jason Dryer, and Chloe Bartholomew; great-grandchildren, Ryder Casaccio, Henry Talley, and Josie Casaccio.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne B. Dryer; and brother, Michael Dryer.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment with military honors will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
