Vickie Lynn Woods, age 48, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. Born in Elkton, MD on July 25, 1973, she was the daughter of the late Calvin C. and Nellie V. McCall Whitt.

Mrs. Woods was a homemaker who loved taking care of animals, especially her goats and chickens. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandson, Braylon.

Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Virgil E. Woods, Sr.; children, Virgil E. Woods, Jr., and Virginia L. Woods, both of Elkton, MD, son in law, Shannon Wilmoth, Elkton, MD; grandson, Braylon Wilmoth; and sister, Donna S. Whitt, Traphill, NC.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria J. Wilmoth.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 West Stockton Street, Elkton. MD, with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton.
