Obituary

Trellene "Trey" Marie Willis, 61, of Bear, DE passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Born in Elkton on July 4, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Altie Baker McFarlane.

Ms. Willis worked for many years in medical billing, where her dedication and attention to detail made a lasting impact on those she worked with. She enjoyed dancing, tending to her garden, and watching NASCAR, especially her favorite drivers, Kevin Harvick and Joey Lagano. She also found happiness in crocheting, fishing, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Ms. Willis treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Her kindness, laughter, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her fiancé; Richard W. Blackiston Jr., siblings; Terry McFarlane (Maureen), Carroll McFarlane, and Donna Allen (Jim), step children; Megan Willis Stevens, Dustin Blackiston, Michalaha Blackiston and Stephanie Blackiston, grandchildren; Avery Stevens, Ella Stevens, and Ara Blackiston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Phillip Wayne McFarlane.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 165 Airport Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
