Tommie Geraldine Nock, 86, of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Born in Wilkes County, NC on August 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl Wilmoth Moody.

Tommie retired from the YMCA as a lifeguard/swim instructor where she taught water safety to many over the years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and found joy traveling and exploring new destinations, while also embarking on rock hunting trips to the Midwest.

Survivors include her children, Davina Nock, Ramona Nock, Susan Grunholz, Geraldine Nock, and Penelope Nock; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Smallwood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 of her sisters.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
