Thomas Michael "Mickey" Jester, Sr., age 65, of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE on June 23, 1956, he was the son of the late John N. Jester and Dorothy J. Hale.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Jester served during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Dyess. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Habitat of America, Baltimore, MD. Mr. Jester was a hard worker who loved spending time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dawn Palmer Jester; children, Thomas Jester, Jr., Wilmington, DE, and Joseph Jester, Newark, DE; step-children, Jennifer Marrero (Jose), Elkton, MD, and Jeff Hawkins (Angie), Glen Rock, PA; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Hall, North East, MD, and Barbara Turner (Tom), Dry Fork, WV; and sister-in-law, Sue Jester, New Castle, DE.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Jester.
