Teresa Marie Scafe, 66, of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Born in Elkton on June 4, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Constable Sr. and Helen J. Huminski Thompson.

Mrs. Scafe retired as a security guard with Initial Security, and she cherished any time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her sons, Steven Thompson, and Christopher Thompson (Kari), both of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Steven Jr., Justin, Chloe, Kali, and Kinley Thompson; and sister, Mary Ann Beacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 18 years, Elton G. Scafe; and brother, Reginald C. Thompson, Jr.

Prayer service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.

In lieu of flowers, Teresa's family would like to encourage everyone to pay it forward in their community by helping others in need, just as they helped her.
