Susan Marie Harrigan, 68, of Elkton, MD passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Born in Elkton on March 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late James Polk and Joan Kennedy Scott.

Mrs. Harrigan retired after 30 years as a line supervisor for Avon Products. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends, reading, and taking trips to Delaware Park.

Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Steven Harrigan; children, Michelle Johnston (Kevin Provencal), Conowingo, MD, and Jason Harrigan, Elkton, MD; grandchildren, James "Bailey" Johnston (Olivia Palmeri), Kyle Johnston, Braden Johnston, Hannah Harrigan, and Kaitelynne Harrigan; sisters, Hazel Scott Lake (Rick), Lincoln University, PA, and Kathy Scott Zamostny (Frank), Mount Airy, MD; cousin/sister, Sissy Coulbourne; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brad Johnston; mother-in-law, Marcia Harrigan; father-in-law, Walter Harrigan; sisters-in-law, Betty Insley and Sharon Harrigan; and best friend, Fay Craig.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Monday, February 5, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park.
