Stephanie Denise Widdoes, age 41, of Elk Mills, MD, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE, on January 27, 1981, she was the daughter of Ricky and Bonnie White Austin.

Stephanie loved to sew and was self-employed. Formerly, she worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Baltimore Washington International Airport, Baltimore, MD. Stephanie was an animal lover. She loved her greyhounds that she rescued, her goats, chickens, and horses.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gregory Widdoes; stepsons, Hunter and Heath Widdoes; siblings, Richard and Kimberly Austin, both of Wilmington, DE, and Michelle Whitehead-Green (Robert), Tampa, FL; paternal grandmother, Delmaya Austin, Dallas, TX; mother-in-law, Mildred Widdoes, Elkton, MD; sister-in-law, Diane Tiley (Joe), Elkton, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry "Pappy" and Irene "GA" White, and paternal grandfather, Raymond Austin.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery.
