"Sausy"

Stephanie Leah "Sausy" Goncalves, age 24, of Elkton, MD, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Born in Voorhees, NJ, on November 9, 1990, Ms. Goncalves was a 2009 graduate of Elkton High School, and a 2010 graduate of BIM Institute of Maryland. She had interned at WBAL, Baltimore, and had been employed at the Fair Hill Equine Center.

Our beautiful angel enjoyed life to the fullest. In a letter to herself titled, "Why I Am Worth Recovery", she wrote "I'm intelligent, artistic, creative, athletic, loyal, funny, helpful and a good friend." This truly was our Stephanie.

Meeting her in heaven is her father, J. Gregory Goncalves.

Missing her on earth is her mother, Karen Goncalves, Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Diana Sapp, Brooksville, FL, and brother, J. Branden Goncalves, Elkton, MD; maternal grandmother, Diane Bocchino, Mullica Hill, NJ; soul mate, Shane Harrison; her dogs, Babz and Elvis; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
