Cebula, Sr.
February 10, 1933 – November 26, 2025
Stanley Lee Cebula, Sr., 92, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Stanley was born in Elkton, on February 10, 1933. He was the son of the late Emil and Emily Cross Cebula.
A devoted and loving father and grandfather, Mr. Cebula was also a proud veteran who served honorably in the United States Army. He went on to build a long and dedicated career, retiring after 37 years with General Motors.
An active and lifelong member of Elkton United Methodist Church, Mr. Cebula was also deeply involved in his community. He was a member of the North Bay Fishing Club and enjoyed many seasons with the Elk Lanes bowling league. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, fishing, crabbing, camping, and spending time with his family. He especially cherished the warmth of his winters in Fort Myers, Florida, where he enjoyed being a snowbird each year.
Survivors include his children, Stanley L. Cebula, Jr. (Becky), Elkton, MD, Randy L. Cebula (Carla), Elkton, Roger A. Cebula (Kiki), Ocean City, MD, and Vicki L. Collins (Steve), Earleville, MD; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Victoria A. Cebula; and siblings, Collins Cross, Lillian Clarke, Victor Cross, Frank Cebula, Emily Reeves, Irene Dunlap, Esther McCall, and Robert Cebula.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 11 AM. Interment with military honors will follow in Elkton Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome; however, if desired, contributions may be made to the Elkton United Methodist Church, in care of the above address.
