Stanley Lee
Cebula Jr.
April 22, 1957 – March 16, 2026
Stanley Lee Cebula, Jr., 68, a lifelong resident of Elkton, MD, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. Born in Elkton on April 22, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Stanley, Sr. and Vickie Cebula.
As a 1975 graduate of Elkton High School, Stan forged many deep, lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout his life. He went on to attend Salisbury State College, where he met the love of his life, Becky. Stan had a dedicated career of 30 years with General Motors.
Stan's heart was always anchored by his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who found his greatest joy in the presence of those he loved. His leadership as President of the North Bay Fishing Club reflected his twin passions: his love for being on the water and his commitment to engaging the next generation by hosting activities on the Chesapeake Bay. We take comfort in knowing Stan has finally found a fishing spot where the limit doesn't exist and the weather is always perfect.
Stan's legacy lives on through his wife of 45 years, Becky; his children, Stanley L. Cebula, III (Susana) of Middletown, DE, Brooke Jerman (Eric) of Damascus, MD, and Madison Miller (Jordan) of Wilmington, DE; and cherished as Pop by his four grandchildren, Lizzie, Ethan, Bennett & Kennedy. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy (Carla), Roger (Kiki), and Vicki Collins (Steve), siblings-in-law Jack Schachter (Michelle) and Laura Freas (Erik), nieces and nephews, along with a community of friends who will miss his steady presence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 9 AM.
While flowers are welcome, those wishing to honor Stan's memory may also make contributions to the Elkton United Methodist Church at the address above.
