Sheckley Aaron Campbell "Mr. C", 87, of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Born in Amherst, VA on March 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Harold and Lucille Campbell.
Known throughout Cecil County for his exceptional skill and dedication, Mr. C spent over 40 years as a brick mason, earning a reputation for his flawless craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to his trade. His presence in the community will be remembered fondly, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and excellence.
Survivors include his children, Michael Campbell, North East, MD, Steve Campbell, Jacksonville, NC, Rebecca Perrott, Cleveland, TN, and Angela Lundeen, Colora, MD; grandchildren, Jennifer Sakowski, Christopher Sakowski, Rachel Bond, and Nicole Hodges; 8 great-grandchildren; and his 9 siblings.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Davis Campbell; grandchildren, Michael Campbell Jr., Angela Campbell, and Benjamin Campbell; and his 4 siblings.
Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Friday, March 21, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Attn: Memorial Giving at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
