Ruthann McQuerrey, age 80, of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Born in Newark, DE, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Ruth Harvey.,

Mrs. McQuerrey retired from W.L. Gore and Associates, where she worked as a Quality Control Technician. As a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene she practiced her faith as a missionary serving those in need. She was also a member of the American Red Cross and assisted wherever needed and during natural disasters. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. McQuerrey loved traveling with her husband Frank, enjoyed gardening, and loved all animals big and small. An avid bowler, she had bowled on many leagues.

Survivors include her children, Ruth Dunlap (Barry), Tom Biggs (Barbara), David Biggs, Gary Biggs, and Jim Biggs (Cindy); grandchildren, John, Michael, Jennifer, Heather, Amanda, David, Jacob, Amber, Gary, Tori, James, and Curtis; brothers, John Harvey and Robert Harvey; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin F. McQuerrey; children, Kathy Biggs, Susan Bryant, and Johnny Biggs; and sisters, Virginia Harvey and Lorraine Crane.

Funeral service and interment will be private.
