Ruth Ann Magaw, age 79, of Elkton, MD, passed away, Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born in Providence, MD on August 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Magaw Dyling and Charles Melvin Magaw, Sr.

Ms. Magaw was a very energetic person who was very dedicated to her work and her customers. She loved spending time with family, attending annual family reunions, and going on vacations with her sisters. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and her heart and spirit were filled with love and joy for all the world around her. It seems very fitting that she would meet her Savior and be greeted by her loving family at this wonderful time of year.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Mangold, Cathleen Olszewski, and Eric Wharton; grandchildren, Katie, Julie, Tanner, Emily, and Shelby; great-grandson, Anthony; brothers, Charles Melvin Magaw, Jr. (Sandy), Edward Dyling (Linda), Gary Dyling (Sandie), Allan Dyling (Carol); sister, Donna Magaw Truitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Magaw was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Goat; brother, Martin Magaw; sisters, Betty Magaw Feehly, Frances Magaw Schneider, and Deborah Dyling Wunderlich.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
