Obituary

Rosemarie Joan Beier Oneschuk, age 79, of Westerly, RI, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Scullin Beier.

Mrs. Oneschuk had been a special needs aide. She was devoted to her family and a caregiver for her sister, Elizabeth, for many years. Mrs. Oneschuk loved being with her family and had been a Boy Scout leader for her sons. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, canning, and submitting entries into the Washington County Fair in Rhode Island. She loved animals and enjoyed feeding them.

Survivors include her children, Pamela Sayers (Ron), Elkton, MD, Francis Oneschuk, Westerly, RI, and Christopher Oneschuk (Brandy), Narragansett, RI; grandchildren, Leroy Sayers, Renee Sayers (Jimmy), Zachary Oneschuk, and Christopher Oneschuk, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kiara Rose and Evan; and sister, Bernice Clancy, Hope Valley, RI.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Oneschuk was preceded in death by her son, Richard; brother, Bernie; and sister, Elizabeth,

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
