Rosemarie Whiteman, 65, of Elkton, MD, passed away, Friday, January 27, 2023.  Born in Elkton on June 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Doris Jennings McDowell.

Mrs. Whiteman had previously worked as a pre-k teacher for Kiddie Academy and Little Einstein's. A member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #851, Elkton, she was a Green Bay Packers fan, and loved collecting angels.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Whiteman; children, Kristina Whiteman, West Branch, MI, and Shawn Whiteman, Taneytown, MD; grandchildren, Synthia and Jeffrey Burcham, and Alli and Ryan Whiteman; and siblings, Joe and Jimmy McDowell, and Sharon Barker.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park.
