Ronald Norris Gilbert, 69, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Born in Elkton, on May 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Alexander and Lucille Shelton Gilbert.

Ronald retired as a heavy equipment operator from Stancills, Inc., Perryville, MD, and was fortunate to do a job where he truly excelled. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, and took pride in mowing his grass.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Gilbert; sons, Dustin Gilbert, and Kody Gilbert (Jamie), both of Elkton; granddaughter, Mackenzie Gilbert; and siblings, Jim Gilbert (Christine), and Sue Osborne, both of North East, MD.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, Grace Lephew, Robert Shelton, and Wanda Gilbert.

Funeral service and interment will be private.
