"Bobbie"

Roberta Claire "Bobbie" Britton, age 78, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Born in Camden, NJ, on June 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Roberta Abraham Krogman.

Mrs. Britton was an executive secretary for the Campbell Soup Company, Camden, NJ, retiring after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Hollywood Beach Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Britton loved singing, reading, boating and the water. She also enjoyed playing the slots at Dover Downs, Dover, DE.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lee Britton; daughters, Vickie Ann Maley, Pittsgrove, NJ, and Bobbe Lee Britton and husband, Jerry McCarthy, Washington Township, NJ; and granddaughter, Brittonie Lee Maley, Pittsgrove, NJ.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Town Point United Methodist Church--Benner Hall, 61 Port Herman Road, Chesapeake City, MD.
