Robert "Robbie" Allen Richardson, 72, of Elkton, MD passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Born in Elkton on June 12, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Allen Richardson.

Robbie retired from the Chrysler Corporation after over 30 years of service. After his retirement from Chrysler, he later worked in the HVAC industry for Crouse Brothers for over 15 years. In his personal life, Robbie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a passionate sports fan, especially of baseball, football, and basketball. He loved traveling with his family, creating cherished memories. Robbie's granddaughters were the light of his life. Pop Pop loved his girls, Char, Sissy, and Georgia, they were truly his whole world.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Hewett Richardson; children, Samantha Richardson, Elkton, MD, Chelsea Vargo (John), Miami, FL, Cheyne Hudson (Fred), Elkton, MD, and Dylan Richardson, Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughters, Charlette, Savanna, and Georgia; his siblings, Sheree Scoggins, and Donald Richardson, both of Elkton, MD; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Richardson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Robbie dedicated many years to coaching at Elkton Little League where his granddaughters now play softball. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Elkton Little League (Attn: Timothy Eller) at P.O. Box 75, Elkton, MD 21922.
