Rita DiNunzio CiMarcone, 78, of Earleville, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on October 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Edna McVey DiNunzio.

Rita had worked as a hairdresser for many years, and later retired from Delaware Park as a mutuel teller. A woman of faith, she had been a member of Red Lion United Methodist Church and attended Bohemia Wesleyan Church. In her free time, Rita had a passion for decorative stitching.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Zicafoose, Mechanicsville, VA, and R. Craig Zicafoose (Jaime), Earleville, MD; grandchildren, Zoe Zicafoose, Olivia Zicafoose, and Russell Zicafoose; and her siblings, Mary Shaffer, Bear, DE, and Evelyn Walls, Bel Air, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William CiMarcone; and her siblings, Leonard DiNunzio, Dick Kyle, Frances McKewen, and Judy DiNunzio.

Funeral service will be held 12:30 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
