Richard Paul Hudler, age 65, of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. Born on October 9, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Gilbert Hudler.

Mr. Hudler was born and raised on the family farm. If asked today, he would tell you that being raised a farm kid was the best gift ever received. It was hard work, but it taught him valuable lessons that stayed with him his entire life. His passion for farming is what led him to become a member of the Young Farmers Association.

Although he loved farming, his journey in life took him to a job working for Maryland Materials, located in North East, MD. He adored his niece and nephews, and even though he wasn't a man of many hobbies, he enjoyed sitting down to watch a race.

Mr. Hudler is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debbie Hudler; a brother; two sisters; a niece; several nephews; and a great-nephew.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudler was preceded in death by his mother-in-law.

A private graveside service was held Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Bible Fellowship Church Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD, for immediate family.
