Reese "Shorty" Prewitt, age 93, of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at his home. Born in Little Britain Township, PA, on January 28, 1930, he was the son of the late Reese Randall and Agnes Rowland Prewitt.

Reese was a farmer, carpenter, and a great mechanic. He enjoyed trap and skeet.

Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Ankney (Tim); granddaughter, Monna Sue Flynn (David); 3 great-granddaughters, Emily, Kayla, and Ashley Flynn, all of Oxford, PA; brother, Herbert Prewitt, Rock Hall, MD; and sisters, Bernice Hollifield and Mary Hamm, both of Elkton, MD.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Robinson Prewitt, who passed away on May 10, 2010; and sisters, Pauline Baker, Betty Osborne, Bonnie Weller, Ruby Peterson, and Carolyn Zeller.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Galena Cemetery, Galena, MD.
