Rebecca Dawn Wood, 66, of Princeton WV passed away on Friday January 23, 2026. Born in Newark, DE, on March 12, 1959 she was the youngest daughter of the late John W. and Chloe M. Falin Thomas.

Ms. Becky was a tremendous woman! She was beautiful, caring and memorable. Ms Becky was a feisty red head, who loved her family, her daycare kids, and Jesus so much.

Survivors include her children; Billy J. Wood, John D. Wood, and Kaitlyn R Wood; three grandchildren; Luke, JW, and Hadley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Billy James Wood Sr.

Funeral service will be held 4 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 3 PM. Interment will be private in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
