Obituary

Philip “Phil” Roger Norman, 82, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by those he loved the most, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada on May 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Vernon Norman and Miriam Ings Towner.

Mr. Norman was a hardworking man who took great pride in his service to his country and his career as a truck driver. He was a member of the NRA as well as Elkton United Methodist Church. In his free time, Mr. Norman enjoyed fishing and traveling, but most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years; Rita Moran Norman, children; Renee Cote (Chris), Dover, DE and Terrie Siegrist (Randy), Columbia, PA, and grandchildren; Amanda Siegrist, Emmie Cote and Anna Cote.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Kevin Norman.

Funeral service and interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
