Patricia Carrico Young, 78, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Born in Elkton on June 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William and Emily Lewis Carrico.

Patricia dedicated much of her life to caring for her home and family, creating a warm and welcoming space for all who knew her. She also worked at Ministers Jewelers and later at the New London Veterinary Clinic, where her deep love of dogs made her a natural fit and brought her great joy. A passionate gardener, Patricia found peace and fulfillment in tending to her flowers and plants.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald Young II (Angela), Earleville, MD, and William "Chip" Young (Melissa), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Kendall Young, Nicole Walmsley (Jacob), and Connor Young; nephew, Randall Davis; and brother, William Carrico, Havre de Grace, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Ronald Young.

Graveside service will be held 11 AM, Monday, October 13, 2025 in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, 198 Appleton Road, Elkton, MD 21921.
