Patricia Murray Price, 89, of Hockessin, DE, formerly of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born in Elkton, MD on June 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Cicero and Wilma Hawkins Murray.

Patricia attended Cecil College, where she obtained an associate's degree in Business, and went on to Goldey-Beacom College for one year to earn her Secretarial Certificate, building a strong foundation for her professional career. She spent many years as an executive secretary at DuPont prior to her retirement. Earlier in her career, she also held positions at Chrysler and Elkton Christian Schools. Beyond her professional life, she was a talented artist who especially loved painting. She found joy in gardening and cherished the time she spent outdoors. Her beloved dog, Joey, was her constant companion. Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Price (Patricia), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Jessica Price (David Cichocki), Kenneth Price Jr. (fiancée, Robyn Pidliskey), and Jered Price (Marissa); great-granddaughter, Gianna Price; and her sisters, Barbara Schmuck and Betty Mahala.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Bobby Price; son, Bruce Price; and her brother, Richard Murray.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 7, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Brookdale-Hockessin and Accent Care Hospice for their unwavering support and compassionate care during Patricia's time of need.
