Patricia Gwyndolyn Lorden-Grzybowki, age 70, of Newark, DE, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on February 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James, Jr., and Retha Spurlin Hamm.

Mrs. Lorden-Grzybowski was a retired registered nurse for 50 years, most recently at Nemours Children's Hospital, Wilmington, DE, and currently employed at Meds Your Way in New Castle, DE. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved her dogs, Bella and Olive.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Michael Grzybowski, Jr.; children, Rebecca Marshall (Billy) and Daniel Lorden, both of Bear, DE; grandchildren; Madison, Timothy, and Nathan Marshall, Morgan Mariano (Francesco), Ethan, Evan, Jacob, and Andrew Lorden; and great-grandchildren, Odin Jennings and Luca Tassotti.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lorden-Grzybowski was preceded in death by her first husband, Timothy J. Lorden and siblings, Carole Merchant and Richard Hamm.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton.
