Nickolis "Nick" James Soots, 62, of Elkton, MD passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Born in Baltimore, MD on December 2, 1961, he was the son of the late Wanda Soots.

Nick had been a concrete finisher in the masonry industry. He attended CityLight Vineyard Church, enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, watching old western movies, and vacationing in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Survivors include his loving wife of 8 years, Michelle Mullen Soots; stepson, Max Smith; mother-in-law, Judy Mullen; also loved by, Brandy Gibbs, Sandy Moore, and Jenny Corron; and their mother, Sheree Scoggins; and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vecie Witson.

Celebration of Life will be held 7 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Papillion Event Venue, 109 S. Bridge Street, Suite A, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation following. Interment will be private.
