Nancy Marie Skinner, 72, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Wilmington, DE on October 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Doris Lyons Feller.

Mrs. Skinner retired from Dupont after many dedicated years as an Executive Assistant, where she was respected for her hard work, kindness, and unwavering organization. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures—long walks in nature, nurturing her collection of houseplants, and spending time with her beloved grand dogs. Above all, she treasured moments with her family, whom she loved deeply and supported endlessly.

Nancy created countless memories on her many trips to Europe with her family, where she embraced new cultures, delighted in local cuisines, and found joy in exploring new cities alongside the people she loved most.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, William H. Skinner Jr.; children; Brian Skinner and Karen Maher (Brian), siblings John Feller Jr., Jim Feller, Tom Feller, Kimberly Hensel, and Bob Feller.

Nancy's warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her love was a gift that will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday, May 15, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be private in Sharps Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
