Nancy Ann Smith Bowles, 89, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. Born in Charlestown, MD on February 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Grace Gehr Smith.

Nancy retired as an Administrative Manager at Perry Point VA Medical Center, where she dedicated many years of service to the veterans and the staff. Outside of her professional life, Nancy had a passion for decorating and took great pride in her home, always making it a warm and welcoming place. She also loved gardening, particularly flower and vegetable gardening. An active and engaged member of the Charlestown community, Nancy was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand. She was always ready to support local events and organizations, and her presence in the community will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her brothers, James Smith, Elkton, MD, and Richard Smith (Tammy), The Villages, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Smith.

Graveside service will be held at a later date in Sharp's Cemetery, Fair Hill, MD.
