Nancey Virginia Astfalk, age 78, of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. Born in Lewes, DE, on April 26, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Nancey Warren Dohring.

Mrs. Astfalk had worked as an administrative assistant for Cyanamid in Havre de Grace, MD. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Asfalk enjoyed sewing and scrapbooking.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Frank P. Astfalk; sons, Mark Astfalk (Tammy), Elkton, MD, and Matthew Astfalk (Karla), Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Eric, Bradley, Gwenyth, and David Astfalk; and siblings, Daniel Dohring (Sharon), Florida, and Kay Boyd (Perry), Charlotte, NC; and sister-in-law, Barbara Dohring, Middletown, DE.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Astfalk was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Dohring.

Funeral service and interment will be private.
