Millie Widdoes, 93, of Elkton, MD passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Born in Elkton on August 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Isabelle Taylor Galyen.

Mrs. Widdoes was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life, she also spent time working for Chrysler Corporation, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit. She devoted her life to caring for her family and friends, always putting others before herself. Mrs. Widdoes especially enjoyed flower gardening and yard work, as well as cooking and will be fondly remembered for her wonderful baking, particularly her lemon meringue pie and pumpkin cake.

Survivors include her children; Diane Tiley (Joe) and Greg Widdoes; grandchildren; Emily, Matthew, Annie, Hunter and Heath, brother; Robert Galyen (Shirley), and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ron Widdoes, son; Doug Widdoes, daughter in law; Stephanie Widdoes, and siblings; Harold Galyen, James Galyen, Woodrow Galyen, Iradell Galyen, Whitey Galyen, Eugene Galyen and Audrey Hill.

A special thanks to Nancy, Kay, Jerry and Julie, Denise, Shirley, and neighbor Bob for all of your help and for being a true blessing.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Church Cemetery, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Singerly Fire Company or Tunnel to Towers, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals at the above listed address.
