Mildred “Midge” Null of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026. Born in Elkton, MD on December 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Bertha Brown Moore.

Midge worked at Abbotts Dairies for 20 years and served as Office Manager until they closed and then went to work at Cherry Hill Middle School for 15 years in the library, she then opened a produce stand with her husband in her retirement years. Midge’s greatest joy was time spent with her family, cooking holiday meals, celebrating birthdays, watching the Eagles and Phillies and always there to support her children and grandchildren at sporting events and concerts. She enjoyed attending church services at Leeds Church, gardening, watching the birds, reading, doing puzzles and listening and dancing to music. She especially enjoyed her shopping trips with her friends “The Golden Girls” in her younger days. Midge had a kind heart and a warm smile.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years; Smokey Null, children; Kristy McKenna (Paul), Elkton, MD and Teddy Null, Elkton, MD, grandchildren; Joey Thompson (Allison), Matthew McKenna, Alyssa Biggs (Mike), Owen Null (Hailey), and Nolan Null (Jess), and great-grandchildren; Kelsey, Brielle, and Trey, and sister-in-law; Sally Mullen (Jimmy + Amy).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings; Anna Mae Moore, Earl Moore, Winnie Moore, Frank Moore, Willard Moore, and Maurice Moore.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921 with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
