Miguel Angel Vazquez Castillo, 68, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, on October 3, 1954, he was the son of Leonides Vazquez and the late Myrna Castillo.

A United States Air Force Veteran, Mr. Vazquez Castillo worked as a custodian for Cecil County Sherriff's Department for 37 years.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Butler Vazquez; children, Marayda Lovett, New Jersey, Miriam Vazquez, Florida, Miguel A. Vazquez, Jr., New Jersey, Wandel Mackey, Boothwyn, PA; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Vivian Vazquez, Phil Vazquez, and Evelyn Perez, all of New Jersey.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921 where visitation will begin at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
