Michael William Welch, age 64, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021. Born in Elkton on December 12, 1956, he was the son of the late Herbert W. and Doris Potter Welch.

Mr. Welch retired as general manager of Autobox for Philadelphia after 31 years of service. An avid car and truck enthusiast, he was a member of numerous car clubs. Mr. Welch enjoyed and was competitive in the sport of brace beagling and was a member of the Maryland Beagle Club and the Salem County Beagle Club.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Marciniszyn-Welch; son, Matthew Welch, Elkton, MD; and uncles, Robert Potter, Tampa, FL, and Robert Welch, St. Georges, DE.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
