Michael John Lyon, age 39, of North East, MD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born in Havre de Grace, MD on April 9, 1982, he was the son of Michael Albert Lyon and the late Pamela Blankenship Lyon.

MJ was a dredge captain for several years, and he loved being on the water. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 8 years, Lauren Lyon; sons, Rhett and Logan Lyon, North East, MD; siblings, Brooke Lyon Wolf, Chesapeake City, MD, and Christopher Outlaw, North East, MD; grandmother, Faye Blankenship, Elkton, MD; and mother-in-law, Brenda Keys, Nottingham, PA.
