Michael Anthony Grzybowski, Jr., 62, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on September 1, 1961, he was the son of Carol DiMello Grzybowski, Newark, DE, and the late Michael A. Grzybowski, Sr.

Michael had been a self-employed carpenter for many years. He found joy in the great outdoors, while hunting, crabbing, and fishing. Michael had a generous spirit, always willing to help others. He never met a stranger, as he had a unique gift for befriending everyone he met.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca Marshall (Billy), and Daniel Lorden, both of Bear, DE; grandchildren, Madison (Tommy), Timothy, and Nathan Marshall, Morgan Mariano (Francesco), Ethan (Jennifer), Evan, Jacob, and Andrew Lorden; great-grandchildren, Odin Jennings, and Luca Tassotti; sister, Wendy Grzybowski, St. Georges, DE; godson and nephew, Corey Grzybowski; nieces, Elli and Illa Grzybowski; best friend, Rod Hidalgo; K-9 companion, Olive; and anyone he ever befriended.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 24 years, Patricia Grzybowski; and his beloved K-9 companion, Bella.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
