Michael Edwin Boyce, 69, of Chesapeake City, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Born in Elkton, MD on February 3, 1955, he was the son of the late Cecil Boyce and Henrietta E. Boyce-Egner.

Michael retired from Bank of America after many years of working in card manufacturing. He found joy and relaxation in fishing, crabbing, bowling, car racing, and loved going on vacations with his family.

Survivors include his children, Christopher Boyce (Gloria), Townsend, DE, and Kelly Hickson (Carl), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Gideon Boyce, Lavinia Rodriguez, and Dinah Darling (Benjamin); great-grandson, Benjamin Darling; sister, Tammy McKelvey (Thomas), Elkton, MD; fiancé, Marina Mateo, and her daughter, Marianne Mateo; niece, Christina Dawson (Jason); nephew, Kevin McKelvey (Brittany); great-nephews, Owen, Aiden, and Mason McKelvey, and Joshua Dawson; and beloved K9 companion, Sassy.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 1, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
