Michael “Mike” Glenn Alford, 67, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. Born in Newfoundland, Canada on July 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Joanna H. Felter Alford.

Michael retired after many years of hard work and dedication as a truck driver. He enjoyed making ceramics, bowling, and working on puzzles. Michael was also an avid collector of Eagles figurines and Harley-Davidson memorabilia. He also loved riding his Harley Davidson. The time he shared with family and friends will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years; Sheila Griswold Alford, daughters; Crystle Alford (Kyle Krammes), Elkton, MD and Sara Ruggiero (Ronald Andrew), Wilmington, DE, grandchildren; Jordyn, Korbyn, Dominic, and Dylan, siblings; Elizabeth Baker (Shawn), Wellesley, MA, Charles Alford (Sandra), Elkton, MD and Susan Haslam (Bryan), Asheville, NC and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
