She retired from the credit union but went back to work in Annapolis, MD as Delegate Ethel Murray's secretary. Cede loved those days and that important work. While raising 4 children, she worked full time, and put all 4 children through Catholic School while being active in the community. Church was very important to her. She had been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Parish for 75 years and served on the Parish Council. Cede was also a life member of Singerly Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and served as Secretary. She often talked about the days when the Auxiliary members, in full uniform marched in the parades and competed in Ocean City, MD. Her love, faith, kindness, and service will truly be missed by her family.
