Matthew Vincenzo DiSciullo, age 21, of North East, MD, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 4, 2001, he was the son of Gregory F. and Laura E. Seaboch DiSciullo.
An athlete and graduate of North East High School, Matt played and excelled in football, lacrosse, and basketball. He loved sports and was very competitive. After graduation, Matt attended Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA, where he continued his passion in playing football.
Matt was employed with Precision Garage Door of Central PA, where he worked as a service technician. A hard worker, he was always there to lend a hand for family and friends. Matt touched the lives of many people, was very passionate about his beliefs, and a protector of his family and friends. He loved his little brother, Evan, and was always eager to mentor him in basketball; even challenging their dad to a game of H.O.R.S.E. from time to time. He always looked forward to going on family vacations, and spending time with his dogs. Matt will be remembered as someone with a smile that would light up a room.
In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his brothers, Evan DiSciullo, North East, MD, and Nicholas DiSciullo and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Kylie, Georgetown, DE; maternal grandmother, Mary Seaboch, Columbia, MD; maternal great-grandfather, James O. Durham, Sr., Hyattsville, MD; aunts, Joyce Nevin (Chris) and Janet Salter (Marty), both of Hampstead, MD; uncles, Quentin Seaboch (Harry), Baltimore, MD, and Aaron Seaboch (Laurie), Dover, DE; godmother, Dawn Wittfelt, Sykesville, MD; and godfather, David DiSciullo, Glen Burnie, MD. Matt is also survived by his girlfriend, Shelby Donaldson, North East, MD; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank DiSciullo.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Grace Bible Chapel, 1949 Joseph Biggs Memorial Highway, Rising Sun, MD. Funeral service at Grace Bible Chapel will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, December 2. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to North East Youth Football League, or to North East High School, and sent to Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
