Mary Jane Wright, age 68, of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. Born in Charleston, SC, on August 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Vernon W. and Margaret Miles Kirk.

Mrs. Wright was the owner of Wright's Auto, Elkton. She loved her horse, enjoyed sewing, reading, working on crafts, and drawing. One of her favorite things to do was decorate for the holidays.

Survivors include her daughter, Cristal Wright (Harvey Heath), Elkton; siblings, Gladys Wright, Phyllis Stewart, Lisa Upchurch, Leslie Simpers, and Timmy Kirk, all of Elkton, Linda Cook, Charlestown, MD, and Bobby Kirk, GA; and special nieces Tammy Yates and Tina Tyler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Wright, and sister, Pat Wright.

Graveside service in Union Cemetery will be private.
